West Berkshire children’s charity Swings & Smiles has hosted its annual Christmas carol concert.
Based in Thatcham, the charity delivers accessible play facilities, respite care and sibling support for local families with disabled children.
The charity’s celebrity patrons - Chris Tarrant, Sangeeta Bhabra and Thomas Forrester - attended the concert to show their support, along with parents and children from the local community.
The carol concert saw performances from Thorngrove School pupils and Swings & Smiles, as well as readings from the patrons and the charity’s founder and president Sian Cook.
The team and patrons at Swings & Smiles also donned purple socks to the concert to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities - a tradition the charity has followed every year.
“The Christmas carol concert is always a highlight for us as a charity every year,” said CEO of Swings & Smiles Rhonda Nicklin.
“It was the perfect way to wrap up what’s been a really busy year for Swings & Smiles and thank the local community who have supported us.”
