Variety, the Children’s Charity is building a team of 75 people to take part in a fully accessible celebration of diversity and inclusivity.
To celebrate its 75th Anniversary in Great Britain, the charity is inviting people of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities to join their team of supporters, beneficiaries, and disability advocates at Parallel Windsor 2024.
The family-friendly festival in Windsor Great Park is fully accessible to people with any disability and offers music, food, interactive games, arts and crafts, and more to keep the whole family entertained.
The event aims to challenge everyone to get moving by taking part in a range of multiple running, walking, and pushing distances, including 100m, 1K, 5K and 10K.
It also features the SuperSensory 1k, supporting neurodiverse people with profound and multiple learning disabilities to exercise their senses over a series of challenges, such as responding to sound, taste, and touch.
Hoping to enter a team of 75, Variety, the Children’s Charity is inviting people to join a group of inspirational youngsters, all of whom have disabilities and have received specialist equipment from the charity, in Windsor on July 7th.
Variety, the Children’s Charity is dedicated to supporting disabled and disadvantaged children up to the age of 19. They supply grants for wheelchairs and specialist equipment, experiences on their Variety Great Days Out, and fully accessible transport in the form of their famous Sunshine Coaches to SEND schools and non-profit organisations working with children.
