The London Symphony Orchestra’s latest relaxed concert will take place on Friday (February 23).
This bite-size, informal concert at LSO St Luke’s on Old Street, London, will be particularly suitable for individuals or groups who feel more comfortable attending concerts in a relaxed environment.
Everyone is welcome, including people who have sensory and communication impairments, or who are neurodiverse.
The concert is free to attend and works on a first-come, first-seated basis – so get there in good time to avoid disappointment. Doors open at 12pm and the concert will run from 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
This Friday’s programme includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Adagio-Allegro from Duo for Violin and Viola in B-flat major K424, Antonio Bartolomeo Bruni’s Allegretto scherzando from Duo No 4 in D major, 6 Duos Concertants Book 4, Johan Halvorsen’s Sarabande con variazioni on a Theme by George Frideric Handel for Violin and Viola and Traditional arr Kae Hirakawa’s Sakura-Sakura Variations.
