A Relaxed Screening of Paddington in Peru (PG) will kick-off the half term school holiday screenings at London’s Barbican at 6.30pm on February 17.
Paddington Bear (voiced with gentle charm by Ben Whishaw) is back for this third instalment that sees him leave rainy England for a heart-warming family adventure in his homeland.Â
In this wonderful follow-up to the masterpiece that is Paddington 2 (2017), when Aunt Lucy goes missing, Paddington and the Browns travel from London to Peru to search for her and meet a treasure hunter (Antonio Banderas) and Reverend Mother (Olivia Colman) along the way.Â
This delightful family treat also stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer and Julie Walters.
Â
The Relaxed Screening will take place in an environment that is specially tailored for a neurodiverse audience, as well as those who find a more informal setting beneficial, and will include:Â
- The lights are dimmed, though not off.
- The volume levels a little lower than usual.
- You are free to move around the screen and to enter and exit the cinema at any time, with easy access for any wheelchair users.
- You're free to make noise in these screenings.Â
- Staff are trained and ready to assist with any help you or other audience members may need while you're at the cinema.
