Archery GB has introduced a series of six new classification videos, providing clear and accessible guidance on the disability classification process.
Featuring Archery GB Classifier Ellie Page (pictured above), the videos are designed to help athletes, coaches, and clubs understand how disability classification promotes fairness and inclusivity in the sport.
Archery is one of the most accessible and inclusive sports and classification is only required for those aiming to set UK or world records, or aspiring to join the GB para team.
The classification videos cover vital topics, including how the classification process works, which impairments are eligible, the use of provisional classifications, assistive devices, and the link between national and international classification.
These resources aim to simplify the classification process, encouraging more archers with disabilities to progress in archery.
