Good luck to England’s wheelchair rugby league team who take on France in the showpiece World Cup final tonight (November 18)!
This year, for the first time, the wheelchair competition has been part of the Rugby League World Cup main event and tonight’s final in Manchester will be screened live on BBC at 7pm.
Wheelchair rugby is genuinely the most inclusive sport of all – not solely a disability sport, as non-disabled people are welcome to compete as well, and both men and women can play in the same team.
It is an adaptation of the running game, with a five-a-side match played over two 40-minute halves.
