An all-female GB wheelchair rugby team is making its international debut in the Women’s Cup in Paris.
The tournament runs until Sunday (March 12) and has been scheduled around International Women’s Day, symbolising a celebration of women’s wheelchair rugby.
The Women’s cup is an event run by the French Wheelchair Rugby Federation and is currently the only international event for female players.
This will be the third time the event has been run in Paris and this year includes a GB team of Coral Batey, Faye West, Gemma Lumsdaine, Hannah Bucys, Helen Thompson, Kylie Grimes, Imogen Steele and Philippa Denmead.
